Williams County announces 2022 Tourism Grant recipients
Williston, N.D., (October 24, 2022) – The Williams County Board of County Commissioners has selected the first ever Tourism Grant recipients. A total of $60,000 was available using funds from hospitality tax-related revenue for the purpose of promoting, encouraging, and attracting visitors to come to Williams County and use the travel and tourism facilities in Williams County. Based on the applications received, $10,000 was awarded for Events and Advertising Grants and $50,000 was awarded for Capital Grants. Recipients were selected during the October 18, 2022 County Commission meeting and are as follows:
