How do I get a copy of a birth certificate?

Williams County does not provide copies of birth certificates. Certified copies of North Dakota birth certificates can only be obtained from the ND Department of Health’s Division of Vital Records.

How do I get a marriage license?

Marriage licenses can only be obtained in-person at the Auditor’s Office and both parties must be presented. For more information, please visit the Marriage Licenses webpage. To request a certified copy of a marriage license, please complete this form.

How do I get a driver’s license?

Driver’s licenses are available from the ND Department of Transportation. For more information and to the office closest to you, please visit their Driver’s License website.

How do I find out about delinquent property tax?

To find out if your mobile home or property taxes are delinquent, check online or call the Treasurer’s Office at 701-577-4530. If you are looking for a list of delinquent properties to be included in the annual Tax Foreclosure Sale, please visit the Tax Foreclosure webpage.
