Camping
McGregor Dam is closed to camping on Tuesdays and Wednesdays due to the North Dakota Game and Fish Department rules for certain Wildlife Management Areas. For more information about camping at a Wildlife Management Area, please visit the ND Game and Fish website for WMAs.
Camping fees are cash or check only and must be paid upon arrival. All campsites are first come, first served.
Primitive Campsites: $10/night
Primitive camping is allowed anywhere on park land, but campfires are only allowed in fire rings.
Electric Campsites: $15/night
There are 17 campsites with electrical hookups (20/30/50 amp).
Boating
Motorized and non-motorized watercraft are allowed, but the lake is NO WAKE.
Campfires
Campfires may only be built in the provided fire rings, which may not be moved from their current location. All fires must be supervised by a person of at least 18 years of age and must be maintained in a safe manner in accordance of the ND Rangeland Fire Danger Index.
