Volunteer Positions
As a volunteer with Emergency Management, you can help your community in the time of need. Free training is made available to all of our volunteers. A minimal amount of your time is needed each month for additional training and meetings.
As a volunteer, you can feel proud that you are providing a service to the community. Many people feel they would like to be more active and be involved with their community, they just don’t know how. This is the opportunity for you to join in, by participating in EM training and exercises, learning more about the hazards and risks within your community and being involved in times of emergencies.
Volunteers must possess a valid driver’s license and have no felony convictions. It is imperative that all volunteers representing Williams County EM be of sound character and have high moral values. Background check and drug and alcohol testing may be required.
