The Williams County Board of County Commissioners is comprised of five Commissioners who represent specific districts. The County Commissioners are elected by district and must reside in the district they represent.
Each County Commissioner has a 4 year term of office, which begins on the first Monday in December after the election. The duties of the County Commissioners are outlined in the North Dakota Century Code 11-11. The Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month.
