8/1/2024: In collaboration with the Williams County Vector Control District (WCVCD), the United States Air Force Reserve (USAFR) Youngstown Air Reserve Station 910th Airlift Wing will be conducting an adulticide mission over Williston and Watford City, weather and conditions permitting, between August 6 and August 8, 2024. Large military aircraft will be flying at low elevations during the mission. Treatments will take place near sunset.
The USAFR will be using Trumpet EC with active ingredient Naled for the adulticide treatments. Trumpet EC is approved for use in residential areas by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
