- Please read the entirety of program information prior to submitting an application. *Note that the project must be located, or the event must be taking place, outside of the city limits of the City of Williston, but within Williams County*
- If you would like to save the progress on your application and complete at a later time, there is an option to "Save and Continue" at the end of the application. Be sure to acknowledge the Consent statement and complete the CAPTCHA prior to saving! Not doing so may result in the link not generating correctly.
- Applications must be submitted by 5 pm on Thursday, May 1, 2025

Scoring Rubric
Category | Points | Evaluation Criteria |
Tourism Impact & Reach | 25 pts | Clearly demonstrates potential to attract visitors and increase tourism activity in Williams County, particularly generating overnight stays. |
Feasibility & Readiness | 20 pts | Project/event has a well-defined plan, achievable timeline, and realistic budget with clear expense breakdown. |
Organizational Capacity | 15 pts | Applicant has the experience, resources, and partnerships necessary to successfully execute the project/event. |
Sustainability & Long-Term Impact | 15 pts | Project/event shows potential for ongoing tourism benefits beyond the grant period. |
Match Funding & Financial Need | 10 pts | Applicant provides the required 20% match and demonstrates financial need and responsible budgeting. |
New or Expanded Tourism Experience | 10 pts | Project/event brings a new tourism experience to Williams County or focuses on expanding a current experience that is not related to ongoing maintenance. |
New Applicant Status | 5 pts | Higher priority given to first-time applicants over previous recipients. |
