Sheriff’s Office responds to report of gunshot wound
Williston, N.D., (December 30, 2021) – On December 30, 2021 at approximately 12:05 pm the Williams County Sheriff’s Office responded to the area of 141st Avenue NW and 45th Street NW in rural Williams County for a report of a gunshot wound.
Upon arrival, Deputies found a 15 year old male deceased with a gunshot wound to the heard. Initial findings demonstrate that the wound was accidentally self-inflicted. The body has been transported to the North Dakota Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy. The male was from Williston. The investigation is ongoing and no additional information will be released at this time.
