February 16, 2017
On February 16, 2017, the regular County Planning Commission
meeting will be held after the joint meeting of the City of Williston and
Williams County Planning Commissions. Members of the public are invited to the
Williston Area Recreation Center at 6:00 PM to view and comment on the draft of
the Williston and Williams County Regional Plan Update. Please see attached
notice for further detail.
July 20, 2016
Williams County is now live with our new EnerGov software!
This software utilizes our GIS to automate and centrally connect critical
processes, and streamline the workflow among various departments. In August, we
plan to go live with the new Citizen Access Portal which will allow for an
applicant to apply for building and planning projects, view the status of their
project, and view the results of their building inspection in real time by
logging in online.

Development Services in support of our Fire Safety Division is currently reviewing and making proposed amendments to the 2012 International Fire Code. Stay tuned more to follow.

Williams County is pleased to announce we have partnered
with Tyler Technologies of Plano Texas for a new software system. Tyler is one
of the largest public sector software providers in the nation. The software
platform will be used by numerous Williams County Departments related to the
development process. The target for roll out is June 15, 2016. Check back for
